Several months ago I was contacted by the wonderful staff of The Animal Welfare League of Frederick County regarding a fundraiser they were planning at a local winery. Would I be interested in doing pet photo shoots in the vineyard? Wow, yes!!
After months of rigorous preparation by the AWLFC, the event this past Sunday was an ENORMOUS success! Lots of pet vendors were on hand plus silent auctions, raffles, live music and wine tastings. So many people jumped on board for the photo shoots that I asked the super-talented Dana Cubbage (Dana Cubbage Photography) to join the cause. We had a great time working together and were able to cover twice as many pet photos. In spite of the heat and the threat of a storm, everything went off without a hitch and a lot of adoptable animals were helped in the process.
A HUGE thank you to all the folks that braved the heat and came out to support the AWLFC’s adoption and spay/neuter programs that are so important to the community and to the well-being of our companion animals.
Huge thanks also to the AWLFC, not only for what you do for animals, but for inviting me to be a part of something so spectacular… and of course, to Dana. I couldn’t have done it without you!
Here are the client shoots overlooking the beautiful vineyards of Linganore:
Here are just a few candids I managed to grab during a very tight schedule!
