How awesome is it that so many local bars and restaurants are dog-friendly?! It seems everywhere we go, our canine friends are free to come along – even Home Depot! (An adorable pittie once helped me pick out a few tiles for my kitchen backsplash. He had impeccable taste.)

Here are my Top 3 and if my kitty had any interest at all in leaving his spot on the couch, I’m sure he would agree:

Breaux Vineyards – Gorgeous views, live music, award-winning wines, and plenty of space to relax make Breaux my first choice for a relaxed Saturday afternoon. Leashed dogs are welcome on the grounds and their calendar is full of events that welcome Fido! Learn more about Breaux at www.BreauxVineyards.com

Old Ox Brewery – How can you miss an event called Pups in the Pub?? Old Ox teams up with local businesses to provide an afternoon of puppy playdates and craft brews. Find them at www.OldOxBrewery.com

Parallel Wine Bistro – A shaded patio, over 50 wines-by-the-glass and 50 bottled and craft beers and ciders, make Parallel Wine Bistro a great place to kick back with your pooch. Their super-cool Wine Stations allow you to sample their wines before buying that bottle! (I love sampling the small plates options from the menu too!) Visit www.parallelwinebistro.com to learn more and make your reservation.

Where is your favorite pet-friendly place to chill?
